In Loving Memory of William Henry Monroe

May 16, 1936 – February 11, 2025

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved William Henry Monroe, who departed this life on February 11, 2025, at the age of 88. He was a pillar of strength, wisdom, and unwavering love—a man whose presence brought warmth and joy to all who knew him.

Born on May 16, 1936, William lived a life centered around family, devotion, and kindness. He was a proud father to six children: Marcus, William, Kelly, and Quinton, who remain to cherish his memory, and Kanisha and Teri, who welcome him with open arms in heaven. His legacy lives on through his 18 grandchildren, including Daquan Bullard, Gregory Bullard Jr., and Devin Bullard, and his four great-grandchildren; Malaysia Bullard, Amiria Bullard, Jalin Grimes Jr., and Kurmel Henry Bullard , who will forever carry his love, guidance, and spirit in their hearts.

William was a man who valued family above all else. He found his greatest happiness in the love he shared with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whether through his wisdom, his humor, or his gentle presence, he had a way of making every person in his life feel special, safe, and loved.

A devoted friend, William shared an unbreakable bond with his dear friend Barbara, who stood by his side through life’s many journeys. Their friendship was a testament to loyalty and the power of true companionship.

Though our hearts ache in his absence, we take comfort in knowing that William’s love and legacy will never fade. His spirit will continue to shine through the family he cherished so deeply.

Rest peacefully, William. You are loved beyond measure and will be missed beyond words.

A visitation will be held honoring William's life on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 10:00 am until the start of Funeral Service at 11:00 am at Thibadeau Mortuary Chapel, 124 E Diamond Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877.
