Wayne Edwards, 65, passed away at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C. on May 6, 2024. A native of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Wayne graduated from Greater Johnstown High School and served in the United States Navy. He was a talented vocalist and had a passion for music.

Wayne is preceded in death by wife, Dorothy Veronica Edwards; mother, Willie Mae Seals; and step-father, Reverend Wylie Seals. He is survived by brother, Jesse Edwards; sisters, Regina Sow and Lorie Seals; nephew, John Russell Funderburk II; aunts, Wilma King and Loretta Hall; a host of cousins; and friends.

A memorial service will be held on May 11, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Shiloh Baptist Church, 639 Menoher Blvd, Johnstown, PA 15901.
