It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tabitha Sika Dolley, who left this world on

Sunday, October 8, 2023, at the age of 37; Tabitha passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loved

ones.

Born October 17, 1985, to Mr. Ransford Dolley (of blessed memory) and Ms. Denise Agbemashoir,

Tabitha Dolley was bright, independent, and motivated. Tabitha understood the value of hard work, and

by age thirteen, she began babysitting to earn her own money. She was ambitious, confident, and

driven; this resulted in a life of success, determination, and generosity.

Tabitha attended James Daly Elementary, Kingsview Middle School, and Northwest High School. Upon

graduation, she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Maryland.

Tabitha then worked at Fannie Mae and held roles of increased responsibility, with her most recent

position being a senior operations risk analyst. An exceptional professional, her specialization included

managing risks in a large financial institution within challenging mortgage markets.

Tabitha’s impact extended far beyond her immediate circle. She was known for her sense of humor, love

of music, appreciation of cuisine, and the finer things in life; she also loved basketball, stylish footwear,

and children. Tabitha was generous to friends, family, and wherever she recognized a need.

Tabitha’s memory will be cherished forever by her numerous family, friends, and loved ones.

Friends will be received from 9:00 am -11:00 am on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Thibadeau Mortuary Chapel, 124 E. Diamond Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877, where a Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 am.  Interment to follow at Norbeck Memorial Park, 16225 Batchellors Forest Road, Olney MD 20832.
