Stanley Morris
Lowry, Jr.
October 8, 1953 – May 16, 2026
Stan ("Bud") was a devoted husband to Binny, a loving father to David, Bryan, and Emily, and a cherished brother to Shirley, Karen, John, and Cynthia. He was preceded in death by his brother Jeff and his parents, Stan Sr. and Nancy Lowry.
A proud veteran, Stan served in the United States Army, where he was deployed to Berlin, Germany during the Cold War. His commitment to service continued throughout his civilian career, working with the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Army, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF), and the Federal Court system.
In his youth, Stan lived life with energy and enthusiasm. He played baseball and football, mastered downhill skiing, and was a certified scuba diver—always ready for adventure and challenge. His strength, humor, and dedication touched everyone who knew him.
Later in life, he was plagued with health ailments that placed restrictions on him. Despite the encumbrances, he enjoyed walks around the neighboring lake with his faithful companions Sampson, and later Chuda.
Stan will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of sharing in his remarkable life.
