Shirley May Avery

On Friday, January 7, 2022 Shirley May Avery (Damm), of Gaithersburg, MD, age 85, at Casey House - Montgomery Hospice, Rockville, MD. She died peacefully, following an extended illness. She was born on September 7,1936 in New Bedford, MA. Having completed her education and married, she devoted herself to being a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband. Loving mother of Mary Margaret Castillo, Gina Sansone, Noel Kinsey and Debra Zimmerman. She will be missed by the many family and friends whose lives she touched.
