On Friday, September 11, 2015, Maria Elena Araneda, 80 died peacefully in Rockville, MD. Born in 1934 to the late Elsa Bernales Araneda in Cañete, Chile. Mother of Lorena Alegria-Fox (Husband Richard Fox) of California. She is also missed by her family and friends, both in the United States and in Chile.
Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015, at 2:00 PM, at Episcopal Church of the Ascension, Historic Chapel, 205 South Summit Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. Interment will be held in her home country of Chile, at a later date.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Rockville Senior Center, 1150 Carnation Drive, Rockville MD, 20850
