Joy Melrose Sparks-Bailey

Mrs. Joy Sparks-Bailey was the loving wife of 46 years to Rev. Charles E. Bailey. She is the mother of Daniel Bailey, Tatlin Bailey, Michael Bailey, and Hannah Bailey. Mrs. Joy Sparks-Bailey is the grandmother of ten grandchildren: Abigail Bailey, Moses Bailey, Ezekiel Bailey, Elisabeth Bailey, Maximus Bailey, Zena Bailey, Leonidus Bailey, Joshua Jules, and Jacob Jules, and Talia Bailey. Mrs. Joy Sparks-Bailey was precedented in death by her father Roy Oliver Sparks, and is survived by her mother Ms. Tatlin Flemming, and her sisters: Michelle Sparks, Magan Sparks, Marlene Sparks, Beulah Sparks, Paulette Sparks, and Benita Carter. She is survived by her brothers: Daniel Sparks, Wayne Sparks, Rohan Sparks, Sre Sparks, and Cornell Scott as well as many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 10 am.- 11 am at Olney Baptist Church, 17525 Georgia Avenue, Olney, Maryland. A repass will immediately follow the memorial service at the aforementioned location.
