Joselyn R. Wells, lovingly known as “Josie” by all who knew her, passed away on August 11, 2025, at the age of 72.
Born on September 21, 1952, Josie was a lifelong learner, a world traveler, and a pillar of her community. She was the proud owner of Community Association, Inc., a business she built and led with passion and integrity for over thirty years. Her work touched the lives of countless clients, neighbors, and colleagues who respected her dedication and leadership.
Outside of her professional life, Josie was known for her love of literature, the arts, and adventure. She was a devoted member of a local book club, a regular at the Shakespeare Theatre Company with her cherished group of friends, and a fierce competitor at trivia night with her beloved team, the Minions. Above all, Josie had an insatiable passion for traveling the world—exploring new cultures, savoring new cuisines, and collecting experiences that she shared with joy and enthusiasm.
Josie is survived by her loving husband, William “Bill” Wells; her sons, Jason Wells and his wife Kelly, and Stephen Wells and his wife Melissa; and her four adored grandchildren: Casey, Gretchen, Thomas, and Jackson. She also leaves behind many dear friends and extended family who were touched by her warmth, humor, and generosity.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Barbara Clark, and her sisters, Marion Clark and Suzanne VanSoestbergen.
