On Sunday, May 9, 2021 James Everett Shires, Sr., age 88, of Boyds, MD died peacefully at the Wilson Health Care Center of Asbury Village of Gaithersburg, MD. Born on May 21, 1932 in Cecil County, MD to the late Harry Wilbur and Edna E. (nee Cosner) Shires. He honorably served his nation in the United States Army. He was self employed as a beautician. He will be missed by both family and friends.
