Dorothy Jean Ford

On Tuesday. February 2, 2021 Dorothy Jean Ford, age 96 died peacefully at her residence in Adamstown, MD. Born on October 9, 1924 in Kanakee, Ill to the late Elmer Ray and Amanda Augusta Adellla (nee Krueger) Simmons. Having earned a Master's Degree, she was employed in the public school system as a elementary school teacher, and on the college level as a lecturer and professor. She was predeceased by her husband, James Derald Ford, Jr. Loving mother of Joan E. Nussbaum, James Ford, Debra Sue White, Patricia Lynn Dryden, and Jean M. Ford-Beck. She will be missed by many family members and friends.
