Born on July 20, 1948 in Washington, DC to the late Russell and Blanche May. Having earned a bachelor's degree, she worked as a legal secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Paul Crown. She is survived by her son, Matthew Russell Gettleman of Gaithersburg, MD.
