Diane passed away surrounded by love. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose warmth, generosity, and energy enriched the lives of all who knew her.
She shared a loving marriage with her husband Dennis, and was the proud mother of Janson (Juli), Jeff and Jon. Diane was a joyful "Nana" to her beloved grandsons, Oliver and Alister.
Diane began her career as a registered nurse and went on to build several successful ventures including a jewelry business, an interior design company and work in medical equipment sales , all while raising three wonderful men. She and Dennis shared a love of travel and spent many happy years exploring the world together.
She had a passion for bridge and a lifelong commitment to volunteering, generously giving her time to organizations including the Smithsonian Institution, Hillwood Estate, and The Kennedy Center. She cherished her friendships, especially the beloved "racquetball girls".
Diane is survived by her husband Dennis, her three sons and grandchildren, brother Mike Estep, sister Joanne Estep, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
