Aiden Kwame Selasi Hughes

With a broken heart, we announce the death of our beloved baby, Aiden Kwame Selasi Hughes.passed away peacefully on October 24,2023

Aiden was the treasured Son of Afewu Hughes and Esinam Esterlynn Quamson. Among those mourning his loss include his maternal grandparents Benjamin and Ruth Quamson and paternal grandparents Dzogbenuku Kwasi and Alphonsia Abra Hughes

Aiden was born, on April 15, 2023, at 2:41am. He was born premature at 22 weeks, 3 days at 1lb, 6 oz. Aiden was 6 months, 8 days old and 7lbs, 3oz at the time of death, and was highly expected to be coming home by the end of the year. We treasured the time we had with our precious baby, prior to transitioning to the loving arms of the Almighty Jesus.

Even though Aiden was not long on this Earth, he brought us great joy. His favorite place to be was in the arms of his mother, and he spent most of his life in her loving embrace.

We want to thank the staff of Holy Cross Hospital, and a special thanks to the outstanding nurses of the NICU at Childrens National Hospital for their love and dedication they showered on our little Aiden, as well as the support they have given us over the last several months.A celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 4, 2023  at the Thibadeau Mortuar Service Chapel from 1:30 to 2:30 PM
