William Harold Snape

William H. Snape., Jr, of Gaithersburg, MD, died peacefully on November 18, 2015, at Wilson Health Care Center. Born in 1926 to the late William Harold Snape and Mary Janette (Webster) Snape, in Springfield, MA. Beloved husband to Almedia Briggs Snape. Loving father of Katherine (Joseph) Kelly of Wilmington, DE, William H. Snape, III of Tacoma WA, Margaret Jordan of Union Dale, PA, Anne (Michael) Brown, of Granite Falls, MN, Richard (Kimberly) Snape, of Silver Spring, MD, Ronald (Patricia) Briggs, of Woodbridge, VA, and Phillip (Dana) Briggs, of Frederick, MD. Survived by his 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren;, two sisters Mary Louise Beck, and Janet Snape. He was predeceased by his beloved first wife, Bonnie Hale Snape. He is also missed by his Asbury community, and many relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service in his honor will be held Saturday April 16, 2016, at 2:00 PM , at the Chevy Chase United Methodist Church, 7001 Connecticut Ave, Chevy Chase, MD 20815. Donations in his name may be made to Wings of Hope, Wounded Warriors Project, or the Chevy Chase UMC Memorial Fund.
