William Finnegan Thornton

William Finnegan Thornton passed peacefully in the arms of his loving parents on November 23, 2022, in Washington, D.C. Will was born on February 21, 2022. He was a feisty and strong little boy who fought hard to overcome the complications of his prematurity. He is deeply loved by his parents, Lindsey Geisler and Steve Thornton, as well as many other loving extended family members. His grandparents include Rod and Dorothy Geisler (Topeka, Kan.), Mike and Jacque Darbyshire (Odenton, Md.), and Mike and Mary Thornton (Derby, Kan.).

Those wishing to offer support are encouraged to make a donation in Will’s name to the Children’s National Hospital Foundation - Lindsey's Page. Donations will help support the hospital where Will spent his short life, the nurses and doctors that took such good care of him, and other NICU families.
