Sam Aggrey

Just as the sun was rising on March 5th, 2024, Sam Aggrey, age 77, passed away at Holy Cross Hospital. With loved ones by his side, he transitioned peacefully and was surrounded by love. Born on November 23rd,1946 in Kumasi, Ghana, he was the youngest of five siblings born to Alfred Koku Aggrey and Sophia Boba Aryee.

Sam was a devoted husband, father, and friend, who will forever be remembered for his devotion to his family and faith.

Sam's legacy is carried on by his wife of 34 years, Cecilia Aggrey, their son Aaron Aggrey, his two daughters Pat Aggrey and Gifty Addo, as well as his grandkids, great-grandkids, family, and friends that span across continents.

To celebrate Sam’s life Visitation will be held March 23, 2024 from 9:00 am until the start of funeral service at 10:00 am at Norbeck Memorial Park Chapel, 16225 Batchellors Forest Rd, Olney, MD. Interment to immediately follow at Norbeck Memorial Park. Please join us for a repast as we continue celebrating Sam's life at Seneca Creek Community Church, 13 Firstfield Rd, Gaithersburg, MD. The repast will be held from 12:30pm to 4:30pm.

As we bid farewell to Sam Aggrey, we are reminded of the power of faith, and the beauty of a life well-lived. Rest in peace, Samurai Sam, your journey continues in the hearts you've touched.
