On October 17, 2022, Ruben Rivera Serpas, 54, died peacefully in Rockville, Maryland, under the care of hospice. Born August 16, 1968, to Juan Gilberto Serpas and Silveria Del Carmen Rivera in El Salvador. Beloved husband of Delmi Rivas Benitez. Father of Brenda Rivas. He is missed by his beloved wife and daughter. Visitation will be held from 8pm to 12am on Friday, October 28, 2022 at Nativity Lutheran Church, 1300 Collingwood Road, Alexandria, Virginia where Celebration of Life will be held. Internment at All Souls Cemetery, 11401 Brink Road, Germantown, Maryland, 20876, on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 11am.
