Robert Eli Miller

On Thursday, April 27, 2023 Robert Eli Miller, known as 'Pnut" age 60 of Germantown, MD died unexpectedly at Adventist HealthCare Hospital, Rockville, MD. Born on March 1, 1963 in Concord, NC to Hubert and Alberta Miller, he was the youngest boy of six siblings. Robert moved to Washington, DC where he pursued all of his education. He developed a passion for DJ'ing and gained skills as a contractor. Most importantly, it was there that he was Baptized at Bethel Temple. Bob loved to scratch the records and mix up songs, creating unique remixes. His musical talent was well liked within the community, where he eventually became known as DJ Rob. If Rob could lend a hand to someone in need, we would not think twice about helping. From teaching loved ones how to drive a car, motorcycle or to ride a bike, to meticulously organizing their home, Robert was always willing to share both his knowledge and his skills.

Also known for his humor and infectious laugh, Robert could turn a tense situation into a comical laugh. With any disagreement he and his wife had, he could turn it around, joking with her to help lighten the mood and make her laugh. Robert lived every day of his life as if it was his last day, with no worries, and always full of life and wisdom.

Robert leaves behind his wife Shelia Davis Miller; two sons: Robert Miller Jr., and Davon Miller; two step daughters: Myriah Davis and Patrice Davis; his mom Alberta Miller; and two sisters: Ava Miller and Imagine Allison. He also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews. He will also be remembered fondly by the many others whose lives he touched.

A Visitation will take place On Friday, May 12, 2023 from 10 am until 11 am at Thibadeau Mortuary Service Chapel 124 East Diamond Avenue Gaithersburg, MD 20877. A Service will follow immediately at 11:00 am in the Chapel.
