Kenneth Michael Koenig

Kenneth M. Koenig, 64 of Frederick passed way on August 3, 2018.

Born on Oct. 25, 1953 in Flushing, NY to Richard and Francine Koenig. He graduated from Peary High School in Rockville in 1972 and Frostburg University with a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education in 1976.

Ken worked at Montgomery Scrap in Rockville, MD. for over 35 years. He loved golfing, playing poker, shooting pool, the NY Giants and vacationing in Virginia Beach, VA.

Ken is survived by his wife, Peggy; 3 wonderful daughters, Sarah (TJ) Myers, Kelly and Samantha Koenig, brothers Rick (Tina) and Mark Koenig and numerous other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Fri. Aug. 10, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Tri-County Baptist Church, 7821 Damascus Road, Damascus, MD 20872. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in his memory.
