Joshua Emmett White

May 5, 1997 — September 25, 2022

Joshua Emmett White (Josh) was born on May 5, 1997 in Saginaw, Michigan to his parents Matthew White and Carolina Teneyuque. He was adopted in Rockville, Maryland on June 27, 2005.

Josh was a very bright and personable young man with a promising future. He always had a smile when he greeted you. I considered him to be very accommodating and pleasant to be around. And he was well liked by many people. Josh and I spoke often engaging on many different and interesting subjects. Sometimes conversations were good, sometimes they were sad. But he was not just my nephew, he was my friend. He will be sorely missed by all of us. He was considered our “baby boy”.

Josh is survived by his son ,Jamilio Gomez-White, his son’s mother, Elyn Gomez, his father, Matthew, Sr., his mother Carolina, his aunt/guardian, Violet. He is also survived by his brothers, Matthew, Jr., Eric, Christopher, Robert, Ian and Evan; his sisters, Nikki, Marlicia, Victoria and Antoinette; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins and friends.

Josh, you can rest your now. And take with you the fact that you are truly loved by everyone.

I’ll see you again soon. . .my nephew, my son, my friend.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you PLEASE MAKE DONATIONS. Violet would appreciate any assistance anyone can offer as there is no insurance and no additional income coming in, Violet is retired. Times are difficult for everyone now, and she feels even worse for making such a request But has no choice and wishes for her adopted son to have a going home he deserves.

Thank you for your time reading this and for any donation. Please share this with your other friends and acquaintances; any donation is greatly acknowledged and deeply appreciated. https://gofund.me/66065ff0 (copy and paste link to your browser).
