On Friday, June 30, 2017, Jose Manuel Munoz of Bethesda, MD, died peacefully at the age of 88, while surrounded by his loving family. Born in Quito, Ecuador on May 16, 1929, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Manuel Munoz Ortiz. Beloved husband of Olga Maria (Zambrano) Munoz of Bethesda, MD. He was the proud father of Nancy Munoz-Hoffman (Donald Hoffman) of Gaithersburg, MD, Jaime (Ximena) Munoz of Gaithersburg, MD, Catalina (Victor) Mendieta of Bethesda, MD. Grandfather of Antonio Vargas, Giovanni Vargas, Sofia Mentieta, Juan Carlos Munoz, Adrienna Munoz, Christy Azarmanesh and Susana Munoz. Great-grandfather of Jake, Daniella, August, Pearl and Dean. Brother of Alfredo (Arosa) Munoz of Quito, Ecuador.

Inurnment will be held Friday, July 7, 2017, 12:20 p.m. at Parklawn Memorial Park, Rockville, MD.
