Jose Fernandez

On Thursday, November 5, 2020 Jose Neftali Fernandez age 93 died peacefully at his residence in Adelphi, MD. On March 4, 1927 he was born in El Salvador. Having come to the United States, he worked as a laborer in the construction industry. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed playing games. He was also a wonderful story teller. Beloved husband of Marie Elba Avalos Fernandez. Devoted father of Sonia Aragon (Gulio) of Gainesville, VA and Nelson Fernandez (Zoila) of Adelphi, MD. Loving grandfather of Cristina Aragon, Laura Aragon, Eduardo Fernandez and Angie Fernandez. He will be missed by both family and friends.
