Jose Augusto Pereira Matos

On Sunday, December 24th, 2017, Jose Augusto Pereira Matos, of Gaithersburg Maryland died peacefully. Born in Lisbon on February 4th,1953 to the late Jose Dias De Matos and Ermelinda Pereira Matos. Beloved husband of Maria Alice deJesus Costa Matos of Gaithersburg Maryland. He is survived by his children Rui (Vicki) of North Carolina, and Ricardo(Cassandra) of Virginia, Grandfather to, Tyler, Gabriella, Liam, Lyla and Juliana. He is also survived by his uncle, Carlos Matos and Aunt Fernanda Matos both of Portugal. Visitation will be held on Friday December 29, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm where A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 9000 Warfield Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20882. Interment will be held at the Tusculum Farm immediately following.
