Jeanne Hope

Jeanne Grundborg Hope, age 75, of Potomac, Maryland, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, at the Manor Care Health Services Center in Potomac, Maryland, after a short illness. Jeanne requested no visitation or funeral services after her death. Respecting her wishes, a graveside interment service will be held at the Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, on January 20, 2022. Arrangements are entrusted to Thibadeau Mortuary Service, Gaithersburg, Maryland and the Columbia Gardens Cemetery.
Jeanne worked in a veterinary office and raised champion Lhasa Apso dogs for several decades in Potomac, Maryland, since 1975, and was a well-known breeder across the country before her retirement in 2020. She is preceded in death by her father, Col. Bertel H. Grundborg and her mother, Jean Harriet Peplowski Grundborg. Her survivors include two brothers, Col. Kenneth D. Grundborg and Robert B. Grundborg; sister-in-law, Rebecca E. Lewis; nephew, Erik Pearson Grundborg; niece, Anna Elizabeth Comer; nephew-in-law Thomson Comer; grandnephews and grandnieces, Caleb, Alice, Sarah, Fletcher, Irene, Elaina, and Emmelia.
