On Friday, November 20th, 2015 Daniel Joseph Martin, (59) of Derwood, MD died peacefully at home with his loving family by his side . Born in Huron, South Dakota on August 20th, 1956 to the late Edmund Martin and Elsa Jean (O'Rourke) Martin. Beloved husband of Diana (Marinello) Martin and father of Alexander G. Martin of Derwood, MD. Brother of Katherine (Richard) Wigington of Huron, SD, Edmund (Candy) Martin of San Antonio, TX, David (Susan) Martin of Scotts Bluff, NE, John Martin of Sioux Falls, SD, Marie Hirning of Chadron, NE, Elaine (Jon) Hilton of Huron, SD, Janet Sargent of Rapid City, SD, and Brian (SangJu) Martin of Sacile, Italy. Preceded in death by his brother, Paul Martin (1996). A Memorial Mass will be offered at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 25th, 2015 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church 201 S. Frederick Avenue Gaithersburg, MD 20877. Inurnment private.
