Dana Rene Cinelli

Dana Cinelli left us on February 23, 2021. She was born on January 18, 1960 in Yuma, Arizona. She was the oldest of four children.
She was genuine and kind, with an infectious laugh and dimpled smile. Her superpower was love. She valued relationships and connection more than anything else and spent hours every week talking to friends and family on the phone. She poured her heart into creating whatever inspired her and enjoyed sewing or knitting gifts for others.
Dana was an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter and teacher. She taught ASL to high school students and was also substitute teaching prior to becoming ill. She enjoyed meeting anyone in the deaf community and helped train other sign language interpreters at her church. She was always so encouraging to others learning ASL and would not mind staying after church to listen or help anyone asking.
She would say that her proudest achievement in life was being a mom to her two children. She loved being a grandmother to her five grandchildren, traveling to visit them in California and Sweden when she could. She enjoyed walking, gardening, and camping outdoors, scrapbooking, cooking, and sewing. Those who knew her would say she was a strong, spirited, sensitive, funny, and thoughtful individual. She loved well, she lived well, and she left us too soon. Dana is survived by her husband, kids, siblings and many loved ones. You will be missed Dana, momma, sister, auntie, nonna, farmor, and friend. Rest in peace with your Lord and Savior.
