Ali Reza Ziafatmadary

On Saturday, March 27, 2021 Ali Reza Ziafatmadary, age 74, died unexpectedly at his residence in Rockville, MD. Born on September 22, 1946 in Tehran, Iran to the late Mohammed Abraham and Molouk (nee Bazargan) Ziafatmadary. Having earned a doctorate degree, he came to the United States in 1984. He worked in the transportation industry. He held a black belt in the martial arts and was also interested in language studies. He also enjoyed the outdoors. Devoted father of Megan and Madelin Ziafatmadary. He is also survived by his brother Hamid (Michele) Ziafatmadary of Rockville, MD, and his sisters Mitra Jahari of CA, Minoo Ziafatmadary of Gaithersburg, MD, and Mary Bazargan of Rockville, MD. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. He will be remembered fondly by his many relatives and friends. On Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 10:00 am Graveside Services will take place at All Souls Cemetery 11401 Brink Road Germantown, MD with interment to follow.
